Who Dunnit ?
In room 4 we are solving a crime. and what we saw was a bloody cloth next to a broken window.
So first we looked at the cloth with the blood under the microscope and what we found out was the blood on the cloth was real!

using CCTV footage we knew we had four suspects.

When we discovered our blood under the microscope, we were able to extract enough to do a blood typing test. We found that the blood was A+

We also tested the victims blood to check that it wasn't their blood at the scene, but they were O-.



We then tested our suspects blood. 1 was AB+. 2 was B-, 3 was A+,4 was O+. From this we knew it had to be suspect A.

What I am good at ?I'm not good at rugby but it’s good that  I decided to try my best.

There’s No Winning Or Losing There’s Just Trying.

What is Rugby? Rugby is a sport that is mainly played by boys and girls.I believe that rugby should be played by anyone in school. We should be able to play tackle rugby cause even though we get hurt and injured it is a lesson to face also it is a dangerous game to play because you could really badly injure yourself.

Should we allow it? We shouldn't allow it because people might get injured and you can get a broken neck from the tackle and that can actually kill you or you can get paralysed and you will need a neck brace. Also if they don’t  have a mouth guard to wear then they might break their teeth and might cry.

Is this sport dangerous? This sport is so dangerous because you can get brain damage or head concussion. And when they do get concussion they will lose their memories and they might not remember anyone or anything.

Can it damage us? This sport can also damage the school grounds or other peoples field. This can cause puddles , huge piles of mud and mud all over the carpet. Your parents will probably say take your muddy stuff off outside then walk all over her carpet.

What are you good at? Try things that you haven’t tried before and try it. It doesn't matter if you lose or win it’s just trying SO KEEP IT UP PEOPLE.

Parts of a cell

Today in genomics I learnt about the different parts of a cell. Check out the organelles below:

NUCLEUS: The Nucleus is the brain of the cell it contains the DNA that determines everything about the cell.

RIBOSOMES:  the ribosomes makes things that the cell needs like proteins and uses the proteins to make new structures.

CHROMOSOME: the chromosome has DNA that makes each living thing unique.

GOLGI BODIES: the golgi bodies take proteins and molecules in and out of the cell.

MITOCHONDRION : the mitochondrion takes food and turns it into energy.

ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM: The E.R takes the proteins from the ribosomes and puts it into the golgi bodies

About the Octopuses

    

Task Description:

Today in Inquiry class we talked about Octopus. And octopus can camouflage by changing colours and changing the texture of their skins. They are very clever and have good memory. we watched a video about octopus and these are the notes that I took.

Task Description: This is a writing presentation about commercials and we had to answer the question that was given on the slide deck.   Also for our create task we have to try and make our own commercial about our school and things. But for each slide I think my favourite one was the Sham wow, and comment down below which one you liked the most. 

Maths Week

Today in room 4 maths class we did maths.

Our challenge today was to learn about the history of maths.

We had to use our research skills to find images using the clues.

we had to find out Who was the famous well known English mathematician who lived in a house (we were shown a picture) and we had to google to find out which one it was.

but we had to do it with our group.

Test Taste

Today in room 4 Inquiry class we did Test Tasting. Which is Tasting food from other country's,anyway so today room 4 got to taste these food from Italy/ Spain and France which are in Europe. We had  Olive oil,Olives, Bread,Feta Cheese and Pan Au Chocolate. We learnt that the olives are picked from the trees and then squashed to make the olive oil. Lot's of people didn't like the olives but we all liked the chocolate bread.

Fraction

Yesterday in class me and my group were learning about fractions. Instead of using the board to figure out our maths work,Mrs Stone thought of using a cake so we can experience in real life.

Europe is the continent located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere.

There are 50 places in Europe they are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and  UK and others.

In Europe they eat  Arancini in Italy,though not as popular as pasta and pizza in Italy, these little fried rice balls are seriously to die for. Even they eat vegetables too!.

 HOW LONG DO THEY TRAVEL THERE:Most transatlantic cruises travel from the east coast of the united states.
